Dr. Christoper Alvey, BS, DVM

Dr. Alvey established BridgeMill Animal Hospital  on March 26th, 2004. He grew up in Owensboro, KY.  He graduated in 1983 from Western Kentucky University with a BS degree in Agriculture. He went on to graduate with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 1988. He owned and operated Cobb Central and Mobile Vet Services from 1988 until 1999.  He provided medical and surgical services as a relief veterinarian from 1999 until 2004 when he opened BridgeMill Animal Hospital.

Dr. Alvey resides in Cherokee County with his wife Kathy and his two children Jake & Madison.  He is the proud owner of four dogs (Bogey, Allie, Lu-Lu and LeRoy) and his cats (Cartman and Aubie). He currently serves on the Animal Control Board for Cherokee County & the Board for the GVMA Animal Welfare. 

Dr. Alvey is also a past president of the Canton Optimist Club.


 

Dr. Dawn Mason, BA, DVM

Dr. Mason has been an Associate at Bridgemill Animal Hospital since August 2006. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Louisville and graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1999 from Auburn University. She has a special interest in small animal medicine, surgery, and pocket pets.

Dr. Mason resides in Cherokee County with her husband Jamie and her children Lauren & Mac. She shares her home with 4 dogs (Paige, Lilly, Cash and Tanner). She is a columnist for Around Town, Sixes Living Edition.
